OUR STORY
As a Calgary-based consultancy, Jiva has its roots in supporting organizations with transferring critical technical knowledge to the next generation of industry professionals. Since 2012, we have been combining technical expertise, educational principles, and communication skills to provide effective solutions to the energy industry. While we began as an organization focused on capturing and transferring vital technical knowledge as energy and infrastructure faced a wave of retirements and the loss of experienced personnel, little did we realize at the time that we were helping to build resiliency in our industry.
Over the years, our work and expertise have broadened, and our mission has evolved to empower capital-intensive organizations to achieve resilience in their engineering and technical capabilities through a range of services.
As we look to the future, we recognize the challenges our industry faces, with the convergence of the energy transition, adoption of AI, and increasingly complex geopolitics. Navigating change and building the intrinsic ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing technologies and conditions is now the cornerstone of resiliency. We may not know exactly how things are going to unfold, but we can still be ready.
